Routine Tasks:

Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions
Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks
Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness
Package, label, and price self-service items accurately
Slice meats and cheeses, prepare custom sandwiches, and fulfill custom/special orders and party platters
Operate deli equipment safely, including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, knives, scales, and other Deli equipment
Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior deli or food preparation experience preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math and reading skills
Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment

A Deli Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Deli department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. The position includes frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
