Summary: The Development Associate is an administrative role within the Development Department, focused on delivering high-quality service to members and donors while supporting efficient fundraising operations. This position is responsible for processing donations and membership payments, including batching and deposits, reconciliation, reporting, and accurate entry into the donor database (Raiser’s Edge). The role supports timely and accurate acknowledgment of gifts and memberships, and coordination of online and offline payment portals. The Development Associate plays a key role in maintaining data integrity and ensuring a positive donor and member experience through responsive service and attention to detail. In addition, this position supports development events, donor and member stewardship initiatives, and other core development activities, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. Required skills/competencies needed to perform this job successfully:
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years of experience providing office or administrative support.
