What You Can Expect
The Field Reimbursement Manager is a field-based role responsible for advancing customer access and supporting commercial execution for an innovative cryotherapy technology used in the management of pain. This role serves as a strategic reimbursement resource to healthcare providers, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and revenue cycle stakeholders navigating a dynamic reimbursement environment. This individual will act as a trusted partner to both customers and internal teams by delivering compliant reimbursement education, identifying access barriers, supporting coding and billing workflows, and providing field-based insights that inform market access and commercial strategy.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in medical device reimbursement within pain management, including CPT/HCPCS coding, payer policy, claims submission, prior authorization, appeals and denials, and reimbursement trends affecting emerging or evolving technologies.
How You'll Create Impact
Serve as the field-based subject matter expert for cryoneurolysis procedures and related reimbursement across sites of care.
Deliver accurate, compliant reimbursement education to healthcare providers, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, coding professionals, billing teams, and revenue cycle leaders.
Support customers in understanding reimbursement pathways, including coding, claims submission, payer adjudication, and payment considerations.
Assist customers in identifying potential drivers of denials, underpayments, delays, and other reimbursement barriers.
Provide practical, customer-focused guidance on reimbursement, coding, billing, coverage, and payment issues.
Support the development and deployment of reimbursement education materials, field tools, webinars, and customer-facing patient access resources, as applicable.
Maintain subject matter expertise in CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and other applicable coding methodologies.
Monitor and interpret new or evolving CPT guidance, payer policies, and reimbursement developments relevant to the business.
Develop and communicate clear, consistent guidance regarding coding and billing considerations for new or evolving procedures
Maintain current knowledge of Category I and Category III CPT codes, modifiers, C-codes, APCs, DRGs, and other hospital and physician reimbursement methodologies
Monitor CMS and commercial payer policy changes, identify emerging coverage and denial trends, and communicate material implications to leadership and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with key provider stakeholders to support reimbursement education, market access initiatives, and customer engagement.
Provide field-based reimbursement insights to support strategic planning, customer engagement, and resource development.
Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Health Economics and Reimbursement, Customer Care, Legal, and Compliance, as appropriate.
Help ensure reimbursement communications and educational resources remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.

Your Background
Preferred Qualification: Experience supporting pain management, cryotherapy, or other procedural medical technologies
Preferred Qualification: Strong working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, APCs, DRGs, and other applicable reimbursement methodologies.
Preferred Qualification: Experience working directly with physicians, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, coders, billers, revenue cycle teams, and healthcare administrators.
Preferred Qualification: Demonstrated ability to analyze and address complex claims, denials, underpayments, coverage issues, and reimbursement challenges.
Preferred Qualification: Demonstrated ability to interpret CMS and commercial payer policies and translate reimbursement requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience AMER
•CPC, CCS, CPMA, or another recognized coding or reimbursement certification preferred. (Preferred)

Travel Expectations
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to customer sites, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, industry meetings, and internal business meetings. Travel may be up to 75% if needed, depending on geography and business needs.
This role has a salary range of $150,000-$175,000 annually plus bonus
